Blog post.

It has been years, and I mean years, since I have been active as an author. I have written articles for Medium and a short story here and there, but romance? It's been a while.

Health has not been my friend. Since 2022, my body has decided it hated me. I am now the proud diagnosed owner of ME (moderate/severe) OA, hypermobility, diabetes, F3 liver fibrosis, and ADHD for funsies.

I mean, the ADHD I have had all my life, but was not diagnosed until 2025, when peri-menopause snuck in and made my functioning brain cells die a slow, horrible death. I will be seriously looking for my phone and have it in my hand.

But I refuse to let disability be my swan song.

I am now writing again, with a lot of help from software to keep me straight.

I can't remember all the plot lines now, or keep everything straight, but I am using Pro Writing Aid and a few others to help me organise everything.

I still have notebooks filled with scribbles, and more Word documents than you can shake a stick at.

I keep threatening to use Google Docs, just to keep it all off my hard drive, but I can never seem to do it.

That's on my to-do list. Start using Google Docs and save my hard drive!

Right now, I have taken down all the Dia books and am giving them a complete makeover.

And I do mean they are becoming chunky, full-bodied romantasy novels.

Currently, I'm on the first book, and she is already at about 170k!

And it's become darker.

All the same characters, the same romance, and storyline, just more.

So watch this space. I will be sharing snippets of the stories as I go, and will let you know when it's ready to be released!

I am also working on two other stories that are more my old style. They are not RH, but paranormal romance.

One is a dragon shifter, and one is a wolf shifter.

You can blame the ADHD for my working on three different books at the same time.

So for 2027, I plan at least three brand new releases!

All the love.

JB Miller
